Biography
Josh Cerame graduated from Katy High School in 2006 and was in the Tiger band all four years of high school under the direction of Chris Arrowood. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX cum laude in 2010.
Josh spent two years teaching half-time at both Walzem and El Dorado Elementary Schools in North East ISD in San Antonio. He then returned to Houston and got a job in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD at Tipps Elementary School. While he appreciates his time teaching elementary school, his true love was for teaching band.
His first band job was as an Assistant Director at Dean Middle School in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. At the end of 2021, his position was dissolved and he was hired at Thornton Middle School. He taught there for two years before getting a job at Anthony Middle School where he has taught the last three years.
